Quranic Reference of Two Easts and Two Wests.....

Some people criticize the Quran saying there is contradictions in it regarding the words used for the east and the west, but if you know the fact that the earth is not rotating straight but it is tilted by an angle you will find answer to all of these different Quranic verses.

Because the earth is tilted from its axis each day the sun sets and rises at a different point. The following verse clearly says it as follows.
70:40

"So  I swear by the Lord of all the [three hundred and sixty-five (365)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able"  (Q 70:40).

Which is in fact a great saying of the Quran to point this fact 1450 years before when the people did not know the motion of the earth.

The normal east and west is refereed to in the Quranic verse (Q 2:177) as followers. Whole passage is as below. Which refers a singular form.

2:177

"It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces toward East or West; but it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day and the Angels and the Book and the Messengers; to spend of your substance out of love for Him for your kin for orphans for the needy for the wayfarer for those who ask and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer and practice regular charity; to fulfil the contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient in pain (or suffering) and adversity and throughout all periods of panic.  Such are the people of truth the Allah-fearing"   (Q 2:177),

In the same time the earth has two extreme points of Easts and Wests. Which only happen twice in a year. Which is referred to as in the Quran,

55:17

"(He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests" (Q 55:18).

This gyration of the earth is revealed in the Quran when the people of that time though the earth was flat. If not the spinning of the earth we will never witness two extreme positions of east and west. This is only possible twice a year. One in the summer and one in the winter.

So there is no contradictions in the Quran whatsoever. I want to say since Qruan is revealed from Allah he correctly mentioned all that situations in the Quran 1450 years before.
